Autostadt Wolfsburg. The car maker Volkswagen built this "Car City" in the immediate vicinity of its plant. Apart from visiting the museum, one can visit salons with presentations on the various concern brands, educational pavilions, but most importantly it's possible to pick up your newly bought vehicle here, an option used by approximately 30 percent of German Volkswagen customers. My colleague was fortunate to drive an electric version of the VW Golf which has not been released on the market yet. One of the reasons might be that the battery lasts for a maximum 150 km per single charging yet costs some 100,000 Euro.
